4 Years On, Still Going Strong

A quick post - today is our 4th birthday and we'd like to thank everybody, including you, our readers, for keeping this blog alive and healthy for 4 years now.

London Connected: Keeping London Connected, everywhere.

Originally inspired from The Circle of London, the blog quickly established a name in the first year and grew strength to strength. It's weird when you think about how you would make some knock off transport blog only to realise it's success years later. A small one-person blog has been transformed into a four/five army blog, with several close supporters who have fueled us with news, laughs and wonderful memories, particularly on our chat.

I know there's been a really long hold up in posts, and that it's just that every blogger is so busy, in our tight time frames it is so hard to squeeze in a hour to go photograph this or go write that. As much as I'd like to, but soon the world will balance out again and posts will not have to be several weeks wait.

A quick shoutout to our bloggers London Bus Breh, EastLondoner and Rushaune, and also Kieran who still follows us closely, alongside Lewis who has since left to aspire bigger things, however Lewis' help has created an identity for this blog, especially in it's early days and so his work will still be remembered.

Another shout out to you at home or on the bus, or wherever the hell you are, for allowing London Connected's URL link to still be remembered 4 years later, for giving us the name of the most popular transport blog in London and supplying us with information and laughs.

Although there are no posts at the moment (we shall hope some will be on the way as the year goes on), you can always follow the chat which has several users daily with the latest tenders, news and laughs here. You don't need an account, you just need a good sense of humour and appreciate the finer things in life.

Here's to year 5, and a few posts soon!

A quick reminder that London Buses: On The Go is also celebrating their birthday. Why not visit their blog too, who focus on buses across London giving reviews of service changes and routes in a respected manner.
