TN33191 on 607?! Now I Call That an Old Working.

TN33191 approaches Acton Old Town Hall (08/03/2013)
Yesterday brought back memories from the past as a TN came back to serve the 607! The route is currently operated using Alexander Dennis  Enviro 400's (DN) and spare Wright Gemini 1's (VNW) which are mounted on a Volvo B7TL chassis. When the TN came, it was in the form of TN33191/ LT52 XAB which still sounds good like before.

A DN - DN33513.

A VNW - LK55 AAJ

There are still a few TN's at Uxbridge (UX) currently on use on route U4 (Hayes, Prologis Park - Uxbridge Station) although they are 03reg and have rubber mounted windows opposed to the bonded glass windows which are on TN33191. LR02 LZE is also at Uxbridge.

These buses use to run the route until last year (2012) when First Centrewest retained their contract for route 607 with newer vehicles. Now these buses have been made redundant.

I hope you've enjoyed the post and look out for another post coming later today. Here are 2 more shots:

Also - it may look like their was no post yesterday however the post was there but is currently in editing due to a few errors.

  1. This bus was actually transferred to Dagenham (DM) after the upgrade of the 295. It then transferred back to Uxbridge as a spare for extras on the 607 just in case of a backlog.
