Routes 33 and 419 Updates: Farewell Twickenham!
Sadly, tonight will call the end of London United's Twickenham (NC) Garage as the garage is to shut down it's London operations.
The garage is to convert to a Rail Replacement/ Rugby Union/ Private Hire garage only meaning that the 2 routes that are operated from that garage, 33 (Fulwell, Stanley Road - Hammersmith) and 419 (Richmond - Hammersmith) will transfer garages.
Route 33:
Route 33 will have a new timetable incorporating these new changes. The route will transfer with its DE's to nearby Fulwell (FW) garage which is London United's flagship garage. The route may be seen operating with other vehicles and vice versa, so keep your eyes peeled!
Route 419:
Route 419 will transfer to Stamford Brook (V) garage and with it's DPS's that are currently used on the route. Keep your eyes peeled on 391 and 419 as you may see a DPS on 391 (Very Common!) and/or a Optare Versa on 419 (Ultra-Rare).
We hope London United can get through this phase smoothly as they are a great company with friendly drivers and a modern fleet! This event will come into phase tomorrow.
