It was announced towards the end of last year that Arriva Shires had retained their single decker routes 268, 288, 303, 305, H18 and H19.
All were retained with existing buses, but there was a catch. The first four were retained with the current single deckers from 2006 at GR (3704-3714, 3716-3728, 3804-3805). The other single decker buses, consisting of V-reg Volvo B6LEs and S-reg Darts, were too old to be used again in another contract. As a result, Arriva Shires drafted in the 58-reg Enviro200Darts from route 491 (which was lost to Go-Ahead earlier this year), refurbished. They are:
- 3811 - LJ58AVU (ex-ENL11)
- 3812 - LJ58AVV (ex-ENL12)
- 3813 - LJ58AVX (ex-ENL13)
- 3814 - LJ58AVY (ex-ENL14)
- 3815 - LJ58AVZ (ex-ENL15)
- 3816 - LJ58AWA (ex-ENL16)
- 3817 - LJ58AWC (ex-ENL17)
3811 entered service early, with old blinds (presumably from the Commander which caught fire a few weeks ago). The others did all gain new white blinds, which look rather smashing.

Whilst the Cadets were refurbished, three buses from route 126 were brought in temporarily. They were:
